The Design of the Arizer ArGo Vaporizer

Personally, the size is actually what made the new Arizer ArGo a standout vaporizer. It meant that all of the puffing power of the brick-like Arizer Solo was now in a pocket-sized package!

Not to discount anything from the Arizer Solo or Solo II, the battery in those vaporizers is the size of an egg and very powerful so it will blow for hours longer than the small ArGo, but if you’re the outdoorsy type the Solo’s are not the best devices to take on-the-go.

The Arizer ArGo’s ultra-compact design barely reaches 3 inches in length, coming in at just 8.5 centimeters. It weighs a mere 96 grams (3.4 oz) making it the top Arizer vaporizer to take on-the-go.

While some may take the ArGo’s minute size as a lack of power, it features the same 3500 mAh Lithium-Ion battery as the Arizer Air II and is just as capable of blowing clouds!

How to Use the Arizer ArGo Vaporizer

Using the ArGo is as simple as any other Arizer vaporizer. Press the’ and ‘+’ buttons simultaneously to turn it on.

The screen will show a count down for a few seconds, keep pressing the buttons until you see the temperature flashing on the display. At this point set your desired temperature using the + and – buttons.

The Arizer ArGo offers the flexibility to customize the features of the vaporizer by pressing the menu (m) button.

Here are the features that you can customize in the menu:

– Audio – you can choose between three volume settings or turn the beeping function completely off.

– Power on delay – in order to avoid accidentally turning on your ArGo in your pocket, you need to press the ‘m’ and ‘+’ buttons at the same time for at least 2 seconds. If you need to increase this time, you can pump it up to 4, 6 or 8 seconds.

– Session timer – your brand new ArGo comes in the box set to a 10 minutes long session. After 10 minutes, the vaporizer auto shuts off automatically. You can change the session time to anything between 5 and 15 minutes.

– Celsius or Fahrenheit – in the menu you can swap between °C and °F.

– Screen brightness – you can adjust the brightness of the OLED display. You can choose between low, medium and high brightness. This can be especially useful if you use your vaporzier indoors and outdoors alike. In bright sunlight, you might need to use the high setting, while in a dark room you may only need the low.

Packing and inserting the aroma tube

While your ArGo is heating up, it is time to load your aroma tube. All Arizer portable vaporizer models are engineered to work with a stainless steel baking chamber and a borosilicate glass aroma tube.

It is a very innovative technology that is unique to Arizer. The result is high performance, low maintenance portable vaporizers.

Hold your aroma tube upside down and pack it with dry botanicals. It does not need to be full, although it can be as long as your botanicals are not sticking out.

Your ArGo heats up in about 45 seconds. At this point turn your device upside down and slide in the packed aroma tube. Insert it firmly and turn the vaporizer back up and inhale and enjoy it.

They say that vaping herbs gives you a different kind of high, and this is especially true when you’re dealing with a quality herbal vaporizer like the Arizer ArGo.

It’s almost ludicrous how much vapor can be extracted from a measly 0.15 grams of dried ground herbs. This, of course, is due to the next-level convection heating technology that’s utilized by all of Arizer’s portable vaporizers.

Incredible vaporization technology

Canadian Arizer Tech’s ingenious method of generating vapor is yet to be matched, and it’s all thanks to their patented, hand-blown glass aroma tube! The aroma tube is basically the dry herb chamber as well as the mouthpiece for the portable Arizer vaporizers.

The Arizer ArGo utilizes a method of heating that involves little to no contact between the herb and the heating chamber. Meaning that the sessions are a lot longer and tastier than most other vaporizers.

While most good vaporizer devices will get you between a five and ten-minute session from 0.3-0.4g of dried ground herb. The Arizer ArGo gives you a fifteen-minute session (minimum) off of half that!

Buying a vaporizer is definitely an investment as it allows you to improve your health and save money on herbs, and that is definitely true of the Arizer ArGo.

You’ll notice the button on the back of the vaporizer. I usually keep the top pushed down so the end of the aroma tube sticks out a little. If you put your ArGo in your pocket you can push the button to release the top. This way you can fully protect your aroma tube. Thoughtful portability!

Lots of power for such a small device

Like all good portable vaporizers these days, the Arizer ArGo comes equipped with a removable 18650 Samsung 3500mAh Lithium-Ion Battery.

Batteries are usually the first thing to die in a portable vaporizer. So stocking up on some spares is always a good option.

This will allow you to do more of what you love: vaping! While doing less of what you don’t love so much: charging your vape!

Pictured above next to the ArGo is Arizer Tech’s premium carry pouch that comes included in every kit. This little pouch is super handy as it allows you to conceal your device and accessories on-the-go and keep it out of harms way.

Like the Solo II and Air II before it, the Arizer ArGo features full-spectrum digital temperature control that ranges from 50°C (122°F) to 220°C (428°F).

This broad temperature range allows you to get the absolute most out of your herbal blend without charring it. One thing that surprised me about the ArGo is that the vapor generated is surprisingly cool!

Even though the aroma tube only measures up at about 7 cm (2.7 in), the glass helps to regulate the temperature of your herbal vapor before it hits your throat.

Cleaning and maintenance of the Arizer ArGo

Keeping the ArGo clean is really easy. As your glass parts are getting visible residue built up, simply soak them in isopropyl alcohol for a few hours. After that, simply rinse them with hot water and they should be all clean. Simple as that.

You don’t need to clean any other parts really, the Arizer portable vaporizer range is one of the easiest to clean.

Final thoughts about the ArGo

One thing I will say about the Arizer ArGo is that I wish it was compatible with the Original Arizer Aroma Tubes.

This would mean that you can extend the length of the vapor path and enjoy your vapor more comfortably at home.

My go-to aroma tube is the 110mm tube. It means I don’t have to hold the vaporizer right under my nose for the session. Also, I can toke it more like I would a whip vaporizer.

For on-the-go use, however, the 70mm tube is perfect. It is able to be concealed within the device and gives a discreet feel to the whole experience.

The Arizer ArGo produces some of the tastiest herbal vapor that you’ll ever be likely to come across. Vaping with this little powerhouse is just fun!
