Airis Janus 510 Thread and Pod Compatible Oil Vaporizer

Airistech has recently released the Airis Janus a new oil concealer, that works with either, a 510 thread or a pod cartridge.

JUUL has popularized its pod system and as a result, now, their style of pods are used with more and more devices on the market. Having a 510 thread vaporizer doesn’t mean you are all set for oil vaping.

It is only a matter of time before you come across a pod that you may like to try out and suddenly you are in need of a pod oil vaporizer.

The Airis Janus solves this problem for you. It offers both 510 thread and pod cartridge vaporizing in one device. Even though the featured image of this post shows the Janus with both cartridges, keep in mind you can only install one cartridge at a time.

Having said that, it is unlikely you’d want to have both of them loaded into the device at the same time. Aristech has made a number of popular oil vaporizers, such as the Airis Turboo and the Airis Tick.

How to Use the Airis Janus

The Airis Janus has a quite powerful 650 mAh battery to ensure high performance. The unit comes with a micro USB charging cable and it is recommended to charge it fully before the first use.

Install either a 510 thread or a pod cartridge to the device and you are all set for vaporizing.

The voltage can be set to 3 different levels by clicking the power button 3 times in a sequence.

The actual voltage you set is determined by the color of the flashing LED around the power button.

  • Green – 3.0V
  • Blue – 3.7V
  • Red – 4.2V

Depending on the consistency of your oil, the Janus has the capability to pre-heat your vaping material. Simply press the power button twice in a row to start the preheating process.

To vaporize, press and hold the power button and inhale.

Conclusion

When talking about oil vaporizers, I always like to mention that the vapor quality is also dependent on the oil cartridge you choose to use.  For the best vaping experience, it is highly recommended to use a good quality cartridge or pod.

The Airis Janus is the first dual oil vape that I have come across, however, it’s probably not the last one.  It makes a lot of sense to have a pod capability on a 510 thread oil vaporizer. This way you only need one device no matter which cartridge solution you want to use it with.

If you have your own Airis Janus dual oil vaporizer let us know what you think of it in the comments section below!

  1. I picked one up for use with 510 carts, but tried a juul pod and really like it. The small system suits both, which is swell, but being unfamiliar with the pod game I want a pod compatibility list. Maybe it fits most, I have no idea, however my biggest concern is which compatible pod can be refilled and (so long as it is done correctly of course) not leak. Juul seems to leak once it is inserted…is there a better option? Thanks and good luck.

    • Hello Alexander, the Janus fits and works with most pods that are 14mm X 5.7mm. In terms of which brand pods can be refilled without leaking, we are in a process of testing some pods and will share as we are finding good reliable brands.

      • I realize R&D is costly, but I sure would like to see your conclusions. Thank you for your response.
Also, you may know, if refilling a juul pod for use in the Janus should it have the same viscosity of a juul, or can it be oil that only moves when heated? Thanks again.

        • The Janus has a preheat function (pressing the button twice) so I assume it should be able to deal with ticker oils as well. Having said that, I haven’t tried the JUUL pod with tick oils yet, however it should have no problems with ticker oils in a good quality 510 thread cartridge. We’ll try to get to some experiments with different brand pods and share as soon as we have updates.

          • The 510 carts work well with the Janus, and I like mine thicker than molasses. Maybe it is just me, but I feel the carts are becoming quickly recognized, thus raising suspicion/unwanted attention. The stealth appearance/commonality of a pod (and considering their popularity; especially Juul) seems like a good option. I will certainly be on lookout for tips, tricks, and some great options. Either way, I wish to thank you for the time and effort expelled addressing my inquiries.
            Thanks again

  2. Does this work with newer THC pods, like PAX pod and the like? (I have one, but not looking forward to having a useless pod/having to buy a pod battery if it’s not compatible.)

    • Hello there, the Janus works with JUUL style pods, that are a little different to the new Pax THC or CBD Pods , so the answer is no, this particular battery doesn’t work with the new Pax pods. I hope this helps.
