Aovape cRoll 510 Cartridge Vaporizer Review

The Aovape cRoll is the latest oil cartridge vaporizer we are reviewing here at the VapeFuse Blog.

Aovape Technology is a vaporizer manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China, with a line of oil, wax and dry herb vaporizers.

The Design of the Aovape cRoll

The Aovape cRoll is a very simple design oil vape. It is built with a single button, like many other oil vaporizers on the market.

The 650 mAh battery gives you plenty of power to vaporize most oils. You also have the option to change the voltage settings on the cRoll between 3.2, 3.7 and 4.0 Volt.

The cRoll fits easily into the palm of your hand.  It is just a little bit bigger than a CCell Palm, although quite a bit heavier. To be more exact, it is 63.7 mm high, 45.5 mm wide and 16mm deep.

The most unique feature of the vaporizer is that it seems like Aovape designed it to be hanging on a lanyard.

The manufacturer includes a lanyard in the kit that you can easily fit via the hole on the top of the cRoll vaporizer. Also, the vaporizer is hard to stand up vertically, so we recommend putting it on the lanyard.

We tried it with a bunch of oil cartridges and it worked with all of them. Based on our test, you should be able to use most common carts up to 11.6 mm.

What’s in the box?

In the box you’ll find the Aovape cRoll battery, a micro USB charging cable, a smaller and a larger magnetic 510 threaded adapter, a lanyard, and a user manual.

How to use the Aovape cRoll Vaporizer

Using these oil cartridge vapes is very easy. We recommend you put it on the charger for at least 90 minutes before using it the first time. This is to condition the battery so it lasts longer.

Once you are done charging your cRoll, press the power button 5 times in a sequence to turn the vaporizer on.

Subsequently, you can adjust the voltage depending on what kind of oil you are vaporizing. Some CBD oils might be runnier, while some THC oils tend to be quite thick.

Simply toggle the button three times to move between the 3 wattage settings. In case you are using a very thick oil, the cRoll has a preheat function.

To activate it, press the button twice in a row. The cRoll will preheat the heating element for 10 seconds on 1.8 volt. You can stop the preheating process any time with another two presses.

Our Final Thoughts on the Aovape cRoll Oil Vaporizer

The cRoll does the job and we had no trouble with it at all. I personally like oil vaporizers that can stand so I can keep my carts upright. The cRoll isn’t the most stable device vertically standing and that was my biggest issue with it.

Apart from that, it works well. It does a good job with most oils and the preheat function also does what it should.

Remember that oil cartridge vaporizing is hugely dependent on the carts you use, not just on the vaporizer itself. Aovape sent us a few cartridges and they worked well.

It looks very similar to a CCell TH2.

Overall we think the Aovape cRoll vapes well and worth exploring it further.
