Philter Pocket Personal Smoke Filter Review

In this post, we are reviewing the Philter Pocket personal smoke filter. We usually review vaporizers, however, many of you have asked about how to get rid of the odor associated with vaporizing.

And that makes a lot of sense. Because many members of our community work on premises with strict no smoking rules. Obviously vaping is not smoking, but most no smoking rules include vaporizing as well these days.

The way you can get rid of any vapor smell is to use some sort of a filter. More specifically, a filter that absorbs the particles that create the smell in the first place.

Introducing the Philter Pocket

The Philter Pocket is a personal smoke filter that is specifically designed for this purpose. You vape as usual but exhale into the Philter Pocket.

This way you get rid of any odor and ensure you don’t set off fire alarms or get fired from work, whatever the case might be.

Philter also makes another model, specifically for vape pens, called Philter Phlip. You can check out our review on the Phlip here.

Is it really possible to get rid of the vapor smell?

Yes, it is definitely possible. When you exhale into a personal smoke filter like the Philter Pocket, you literally eliminate the odor. In fact, you don’t even see much if any vapor coming out at the other end of the device.

The Philter Pocket uses a 5 step filtration process, some of which use proprietary materials to diminish smell.

Before trying the Pocket for the review, I had never tried a filter like this. I’ve never had to worry about the smell of the vapor, so I was interested to see how good they are. I was surprised that they do in fact completely absorb the vapor and capture all the odor.

So yes, it is surely possible, all you need is a small device like the pocket to eliminate any vaping odor.

What does it feel like exhaling into a filter?

It is quite natural. It doesn’t have a lot of resistance, so it doesn’t feel like blowing up an air mattress or a balloon. There is a slight resistance, but it was quite natural from the first exhale.

Very easy to use, especially considering that it makes your vaping session odor-free. Although, I like to observe the vapor on exhale, so it is a bit of a trade-off that way.

How long does a filter last?

I haven’t been using one long enough to see any drop in performance, however, according to the manufacturer, they last up to 150 exhales.

That’s not bad for such a small device but, if you are vaping regularly, you’ll need to have replacement filters handy.

In those situations when discretion is essential, it is definitely a no brainer. Go for it. Click here if you’d like to pick up a Philter Pocket.
