ALD has sent us the newly designed Cannabar disposable pod vape to try out. It is not officially released yet but should be on the market very soon.
We have reviewed ALD products here at VapeFuse before and were expecting the Cannabar to be of high standards.
Disposable vape pens are not my personal favorite devices, due to the extra electrical waste they create, however they seem to be more popular than ever.
They have the advantage of better performance over their lifetime, compared to refillable cartridges.
Design of the ALD Cannabar
The ALD Cannabar is very well designed with its anodized aluminum body that fits a large 3mm capacity pod, as well as a 280mAh rechargeable battery with a USB-C port.
It takes less than an hour to charge the battery and it seems to last for quite a while on one charge.
It is very ergonomic and feels great in the hand, nothing I would change there.
The Cannabar pod is designed and built with a large, 3mm diameter ceramic heating element to help eliminate clogging and blockages, even when used with ticker cannabis oils.
To further eliminate any chances of blocage, the Cannabar is designed with a dual path airflow.
A sensor picks up if the main airpath gets blocked and activates a bypass airflow channel. At the same time, it increases the heat in the coil to burn off any residue clogging the airpath.
Filling the tank
Filling the tank is as easy as it gets. You don’t really need a syringe if you don’t have one. The hole is quite large and easily can be filled up with a distillate bottle.
Clipping on the mouthpiece to close the pod is also very straightforward and easy. Once it clips on though it is closed and not easy to open at all. Which is a good thing I tend to think.
Vaping is really as easy as it gets. No buttons to push just inhale and enjoy your cannabis oil with all its flavors and goodness.
It was a very smooth process to fill and use the Cannabar, and it surely lived up to our expectations as it provides a very smooth vaping experience. If you like to vape Delta 8 THC or CBD or any other distillates, this is surely a very convenient way to do so.
