Yocan has recently launched the Uni Pro, a new universal 510 thread mod with a digital display.

The Uni Pro is building on the success of the Yocan Uni but with a bunch of new features, let’s look into them all.

The Yocan Uni Pro is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It looks and feels like a quality product.

The adjustable width and height function was debuted with the Uni and both of these features are very functional. You can fit pretty much any common 510 thread oil cartridge into the vaporizer and simply adjust the height and width for a perfect fit. It fits cartridges up to 14mm.

The design also incorporates a viewing window, so you can monitor the oil level in your cartridge without having to take it out.

The new Yocan Uni Pro also has been added a hanging hole, so you can add a lanyard to it when the need arises.

One of the major additions to the Uni Pro, compared to the Uni is the addition of an OLED digital display.  The nice and large display shows you the battery level, voltage, ohm, and a session timer.

The main item on the display is the voltage. On the Uni Pro you can adjust the voltage by 0.1V between 2.0V and 4.2V. You can precisely finetune your vaping experience by adjusting the voltage to best suit your needs.

The Uni only has 3 preset voltage settings in comparison. Not bad, however, the Uni Pro’s voltage control is really nice. The battery remained the same capacity at 650mAh, which is very powerful and well suited for most oil vaping jobs.

The battery is charged via a micro USB cable and it is suggested to be charged fully before the first use.

The 510 thread connection is a magnetic adapter, making swapping cartridges super simple. There is a single magnetic connector supplied in the box.

How to Use the Yocan Uni Pro

Using the Uni Pro is really simple. As a first step, connect the supplied magnetic adapter to a 510 thread oil cartridge. Slide the cartridge into the device and then turn the Uni Pro on by pressing the power button 5 times in a sequence. After turning it on, you can adjust your voltage with the arrow-shaped buttons.

Once you set your desired voltage, you can simply press and hold the button and inhale through the cartridge. There is a timer on the display that shows you how many seconds into your session you are. You can draw for up to 15 seconds in one go.

If you need to pre-heat your oil, you can press the power button twice in a row to activate the pre-heat function.

Conclusion

We really liked the Yocan Uni Pro. The diameter adjustment dial, as well as the hight adjustment button, are super functional and well made. Depending on what oil you are vaping, the Uni Pro gives you the variable voltage option to finetune the best voltage.

We found the Uni Pro very easy to use despite the high tech nature of the mod.

Battery life is very good, although it is rarely an issue with 510 thread vaporizers.

It is very likely that you’ll be very pleased with the Yocan Uni Pro.

  1. But you can’t see the timer very well while vaping, and it goes back to 0 as soon as I let go of the button. I mean it’s not a huge deal to me but if you’re gunna have a feature it should be useable, like leaving the time up for 5 to 10 seconds before resetting to 0.

  2. I use the timer to preheat the cart for 5 seconds then lift off as I’m hitting it. I like baby hits and it works great for that without gagging me.
