Using a vaporizer is not only great to help you relax. When you are feeling a little low on energy, vaping can get you energized! And there are a few herbs that may help you get that lift and energy boost!
One of the most known herbs to inhale for energy is Rosemary.
Coming from the mint family, it is also one of the easiest to find. You probably have it already in your kitchen. Not only can it give you energy, but it might also help with those menstrual cramps. Adding it to your vaping time provides a strong flavor.
There are different phytochemicals found in Rosemary such as:
- rosmarinic acid and caffeic acid are great antioxidants
- betulinic acid which is anti-inflammatory
- camphor which is anti-microbial
Interesting fact about Rosemary:
According to legend, the Virgin Mary is said to have spread her blue cloak over a white-blossomed rosemary bush when she was resting, and the flowers turned blue. The shrub was therefore named “Rose of Mary”.
And, if you end up really liking it, you can grow it yourself quite easily.
Whether you try green or black tea it doesn’t matter, you will enjoy the same benefits!
As with Rosemary, it will add different flavors to your experience depending on which tea you use. Tea, or Camellia Sinensis, contains a bit of caffeine that explains the stimulating effects.
It also contains small amounts of theobromine and theophylline that have many virtues among which are:
- heart rate booster
Thus, the energizing effects it comes on top of the caffeine already present!
Guarana is a plant from the maple family.
It is very common in Brazil and as a stimulating dietary supplement. The seeds of its fruit have twice as much caffeine as that of a coffee seed. Making it the most stimulating of all the herbs we explored thus far.
Interesting fact about Guarana:
According to a Sateré-Maué tribe myth, guarana originated with a deity killing a village child. To console the villagers, a more benevolent god plucked the left eye from the child and planted it in the forest. This resulted in the wild variety of guarana. The god then plucked the right eye of the child and planted it in the village, giving rise to domesticated guarana.
Vaping Guarana can provide a fruity after-taste.
Gingko is an old tree with known fossils dating back 270 million years.
Only the variety known as Gingko Biloba survives these days. They are so strong, it is said to be the oldest tree at 2500 years old.
The most interesting fact about this strength is found in Hiroshima. During the Second World War bombing of the city, every plant and animal were destroyed. But six (6) Gingko trees which were burned were found healthy quite rapidly after the tragic events.
These trees can still be visited nowadays.
Mostly known as a dietary supplement, it is reported to help in blood circulation. This helps restore strength and energy if you feel run down or recovering from illness. It can potentially make you feel pumped and alive!
It is important to note that there might be some side effects for people taking anticoagulants (aspirin for example) and people with blood circulation disorders.
