First Session: Whole Herb

For the first session, I went with whole herb just like the manual suggested. While I was a little skeptical, I thought that I’d better give it a go.

On the instructions card, it recommends not overfilling the herb chamber, so I made sure that my little bud sat snuggly within the stainless steel chamber.

The little nug I used was around 0.1g in weight, meaning that a dime bag can get you up to ten sessions!

If you were to break down the herb it would probably get you around 8, so you’ve got that to consider when deciding on a packing method.

Heating the DynaVap “M”

When you’ve got your chamber packed up and the VapCap on, you’re all ready to get vaping!

If you haven’t purchased your DynaVap from VapeFuse and received the free single-torch butane lighter, go ahead and pick one up from your local tobacconist so you can get underway with your first sesh.

Any jet lighter will do in a pinch, but to get an even vaporization happening you’re really going to want to work with the single-torch flame.

To heat your DynaVap evenly and successfully, hold the vaporizer at a 45° angle and spin it quickly in your fingers.

Hit it with the end of the torch’s blue flame as close to the tip of the VapCap you can get. This will amount in an awesome low-temp first hit that’s chock full of terps!

If you’re more into hitting your vape at a higher temp, just move the flame closer to the VapCap’s base, making sure you don’t go too low and hit the oven underneath.

When the DynaVap “M” has reached the required temperature for vaporization it will click either once or twice to notify you that it’s ready to go!

If you’ve ever smoked from a glass pipe you’ll know how to hit the DynaVap. Simply inhale through the mouthpiece with your finger obscuring the carb-hole on the center of the device and release it when you’ve gauged the size of your hit.

Surprisingly enough the whole herb chamber delivered an unexpectantly huge hit of sweet vapor! The flavor was amazing and the herb inside remained as green as can be.

They say vaping gives you a different kind of high, and that was definitely the case with this DynaVap “M” 2018 Edition.

It invoked an extremely cerebral high that you usually only get from a much more upmarket device like a Crafty or an Arizer Solo II.

Second Session: Ground Herb

For my second session, I crushed up some herbs in the GrindeROO 4-piece grinder and packed the chamber directly like I would a one-hitter.

This method allows you to fit more herb into the chamber than the previous ‘whole herb’ method, meaning that you’ll be able to get more of a high out of your small bowl.

Again, I packed the herb right up to the end of the stainless steel chamber opening. This method would’ve used roughly 0.15-0.2g of herb, which is roughly a third of the amount of a Storz & Bickel Crafty.

Aside from being a lot more affordable than most of the premium portable vaporizers on the market, the DynaVap “M” 2018 Edition is also far more economical in terms of herb consumption.

Vaping is all about getting more with less, so it’s only natural that you’d want to invest in a device that’s going to save you money and herb in the long run, right?

For the second hit, I mimicked everything I’d done for the first hit in relation to angle, flame position etc and received a denser hit with a more intense flavor.

The first hit was a little smaller owing to the amount of material in the baking chamber, so I definitely see the merit in grinding down your weed before chucking it in the chamber.

In a pinch, though, the whole herb method is super valid, and I can see it being useful if you’re on-the-go and want to pack a mess-free chamber.
