Ripping into the packaging of a new vape, busting it open and blowing some clouds is one of my favorite pastimes. At VapeFuse, I’m lucky enough to have almost a new product every week to try out.

Last week we got a shipment of new portables from TopBond Technology, which featured three unique portable devices for me to try out and compare. I was in heaven.

TopBond’s line of vaporizers includes the super-simple Torch portable vape, as well as premium portables the Odin and the Novae.

Each device is totally unique in their own right. The Odin reminds me of the Flowermate with its concealable borosilicate mouthpiece and super broad temperature spectrum, while the Torch is like a multi-temp CloudV Phantom Mini.

The Novae is pretty similar to the X Vape FOG and features the same 5-point temperature settings. Its dark glass mouthpiece stays surprisingly cool throughout the session, and the inbuilt ceramic chamber produces some fantastic visible vapor.

One of the only things that the three vapes have in common is the packaging. It’s simple yet sophisticated, and the silver blueprint-style graphic on the front of the box stands out really well.

The Novae and Torch feature stylish carbon black finishes, while the Odin is finished in matte black. All of the devices are quite weighty in the hand as well.

All of the devices feature a narrow embedded 5-point ceramic baking chamber for even herb vaporization.

The chamber is really well designed, with all of three devices capable of producing visible vapor. The Odin in particular, with its adjustable airflow and wide mouthpiece, is capable of producing huge smooth clouds.

Like most premium portables these days, the TopBond Novae comes equipped with a removable Samsung battery, which can be swapped in and out for increased portability.

These batteries are capable of getting you through up to 15 sessions off a single charge, with additional batteries available for purchase in the VapeFuse store.

Let’s start with the Novae. The newest addition to the TopBond family, the Novae is a weighty little portable that fits neatly into the palm of your hand.

It has five preset temperature settings ranging from 180°C (356°F) to 220°C (428°F), meaning you can get the most out of your herb blend.

The TopBond Novae is the only one of the three vapes to come equipped with water pipe capabilities and has an optional 14mm water pipe attachment.

If you’re used to smoking herbs and are looking to transition to vaping there’s no need to get rid of your expensive glass piece, vaping through a bong is a super enjoyable experience thanks to the cooling effect of the water.

The TopBond Torch is the brand’s entry-level vaporizer and is a suitable device for beginners or someone that’s looking for a portable to go along with their desktop device.

Like the Novae, it comes with five preset temperature settings that range from 180°C (356°F) to 220°C (428°F).

Named after its resemblance to a small flashlight, the Torch combines total discreetness with a decent vapor quality to deliver a pleasant vaping experience.

Although tiny, it’s capable of generating huge clouds of vapor, and the exterior is super versatile so you don’t have to worry about it breaking in your pocket.

My favorite of the three portable devices is the TopBond Odin. This vaporizer screams class and has an exquisite vapor path of ceramic and glass that produces vapor of a superior quality.

The ultra-wide borosilicate mouthpiece is an improvement upon the Flowermate’s narrow air path, and the adjustable airflow in the base comes in handy when dealing with the last few puffs of the chamber.

Like the Novae, the Odin comes equipped with a borosilicate glass mouthpiece and has an embedded ceramic baking chamber. The Odin, however, has a digital OLED display and full-spectrum temp control.

It’s temperature ranges from 80°C (176°F) – 230°C (445°F) which allows you to get the most out of your herb blend. The vapor generated is sweet and dense, and the extra mouthpiece means you can switch it up and delay cleaning.

I had a lot of fun breaking down these vapes and find that they perform as well as many of the devices that we currently stock in the VapeFuse online store.
