The HoneyStick Elf was one of the first completely buttonless 501 thread oil cartridge vaporizers to hit the market in early 2018.
HoneyStick has quite a wide range of 510 thread vaporizers, however, most of them are designed with power and fire button.
The Design of the HoneyStick Elf Oil Cartridge Vaporizer
The Elf is made in 5 colors, in blue, black, white, green and pink.
The cartridge that’s supplied with the device comes with a ceramic mouthpiece in the same color as your battery.
The body is made out of high-quality aluminum and it is lightweight. The battery has 350mAh capacity and it produces a 3.7v output.
The hole size on the battery is approximately 11mm, so it fits most oil cartridges with a 510 thread.
What’s in the Kit of the HoneyStick Elf 510 Thread Oil Cartridge Vaporizer
1 x ELF auto draw concealer
1 x Oil cartridge (with ceramic heating core, mouthpiece and premium glass body)
1 x Magnetic 510 thread adapter
1 x Micro USB charging cable
How to Use the HoneyStick Elf 510 Oil Cartridge Vaporizer
Just like with any other vaporizers, it is recommended to put it on the charger before your first use.
You can find the Micro USB charging inlet at the bottom of the vaporizer. Plug it and let it fully charged. HoneyStick shipps their batteries with minimal charge due to FAA restrictions.
Charge your unit for about 2 to 3 hours for the first time.
Once your battery is fully charged, you can insert your oil cartridge into your battery.
If you are preparing your own solution to vaporize, you can simply screw off the ceramic mouthpiece of the supplied cartridge and fill it up.
If you have purchased a cartridge, you need to screw on the supplied 510 thread adapter to the cartridge.
All you have to do to vaporize is inhale and enjoy your vapor. The HoneyStick Elf is on stand by and you drawing air through the cartridge activates the heating element.
When you draw the unit will light up a green LED on at the cartridge viewer opening.
Once this LED light changes color or starts flickering, that is a sign to put your battery on the charger.
Conclusion
Most people either love or hate auto draw oil concealers. If you are in the fan camp, you are most likely going to be pleased with the performance of the HoneyStick Elf.
It is a well-designed and reliable small sized battery that comes in 5 nice colors to suit most people’s needs.

The red light goes off on my ELF about 10 seconds after charging, is it still charging?
Hello Collin, no it most likely doesn’t. The red LED should stay on while your battery is charging, so it is either full or faulty. I hope this helps.
