Herb-e Intelligent Vapor – Dry Herb Vaporizer

The Herb-e dry herb vaporzier is manufactured by Mig Vapor and we have been testing this dry herb pen for the last few weeks.

The Herb-e is a discreet entry level vaporzier that is priced below $60 making it affordable for anyone wanting to switch to vaping from smoking joints or hitting bongs.

The Design of the Herb-e Dry Herb Vaporizer

The Herb-e micro herb pen is really small, only 108mm high, 21mm wide and 14mm deep. Weights only 65 gram to house the 1200mAh battery and metal cover in a carbon fiber body.

It comes in a small printed magnetic lid box.

The Herb-e was designed with a magnetic mouthpiece, similarly to the Dray vaporizer by Mig vapor. There is only one button on the front and is designed to be simple to use.

The magnetic mouthpiece comes apart so you can clean the inside as resin builds up as you use the vaporizer over time. The mouthpiece gets very hot quickly so the provided silicone mouthpiece cover comes handy.

The Herb-e herb pen uses a micro USB cable to charge the battery through the bottom of the device. It seems to charge up very quickly and the battery lasts for about 7 to 9  sessions.

Obviously, it is a very small and lightweight vape pen so the battery would be pretty small.

What’s in the Box of the Herb-e Dry Herb Vaporizer

How to Use the Herb-e Dry Herb Vaporizer

The Herb-e is very simple to use. Make sure to put it on the supplied USB charger before you use it for the first time. the LED flashes red while the device is charging. Once it is fully charged, it stops flashing and the LED turns off.

Simply flick off the magnetic mouthpiece to access the aluminum chamber. Pack your ground herbs lightly into the chamber, filling it to about three quarters or so.

You simply press the button 5 times in a sequence to turn on the device. The two eyes like LED lights in the center of the button starts flushing orange to indicate that the device is heating up.

The orange light is the lower temperature setting at 399 Fahrenheit (204 Celsius) and the LEDs turn solid orange once the chamber has reached that temperature.

There is another preset temperature option at 430°F (221°C).

To bump up to the higher temperature setting, all you have to do is press and hold the button, until it starts flashing red. You can only bump it up once the orange light is solid.

A session goes for 2 minutes. If you’d like to turn the device back on for another session, you can do so by clicking the button 5 times again.

Mig Vapor recommends waiting for 15 minutes between sessions to protect the battery.

If you’d like to turn off the Herb-e at any time during the session, you can do so by clicking the button 5 times.

Conclusion

The Herb-e is an entry level dry herb vaporizer. Considering the fact that it costs less than 60 bucks, it is surely affordable for most people.

It is not for the regular cannabis user though, more so for the occasional, once or twice a week type of user. The small chamber and battery give a lot of discretion, however, it makes it only suitable for irregular use in my opinion.

The built quality of the product is what 60 dollars get you, it is not super detailed but gets the job done.

Please let us know in the comments section below if you have any experience to share using the Herb-e or if you have any questions.

I have been vaporizing herbs for many years and working for VapeFuse in Australia and Europe. I try every vaporizer and fortunate enough to have this as part of my job. I feel like I am living the dream. I love to hear from other vapers, so always feel free to comment on my posts. Keep on vaping.

  1. I bought the herb e and was very disappointed in the vaping quality. You get nothing out of it! I have been vaping for a few years and this product is at the bottom of my list. Do not waste your money on this product.

    • Hello Tabitha,
Thank you very much for sharing your experience with the Herb E, I am sorry to hear it didn’t work out. It is surely more aimed at newbies than someone like your self, who has been vaping for quite some time. I wish you more luck with your next vaporzier.

  3. Bought a Herb-E as my first vape back in 2019 for the occasional bit of herb I got now and then. It was FANTASTIC! It included the silicone tip which was absolutely needed as the main mouthpiece got fairly hot. The Low setting was OK but I always made it MAD with the glowing red eyes and went straight for High. It roasts the herb.. not black but darker then a Mighty+ or most others. I used the Herb-E straight through until the beginning of this year (2023) without any issues from it aside that the battery was only allowing for 4-5 sessions after the years of use.

Since they have been discontinued they have become hard to fine however I’ve managed to pickup 2 new ones. I have since purchased a few others including the Storz and Bickle Volcano Hybred and Mighty+… needless to say the Herb-E isn’t pulled out often anymore. For just $60 bucks however with a lot of use over 3.5 years it was a great little unit.

    Versions…
I’ve seen two (2) versions of the Herb-E. One had a small switch on the side and I don’t believe it included the silicone tip.. version 1 I’m guessing. This one and the one I have must be the updated version 2 since they include the silicone tip and no side switch.
