FIRST LOOK: Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer

Hey VapeFuse fam!

Keeping you guys up to date with the latest in vaping news and content is what we do best. Whenever there’s a new vape that’s generating buzz we make it our mission to get our hands on a copy for review.

Last week we copped the latest product from Aussie-based Crave Vaporizers. From the guys who brought us the Crave Air, we’d like to introduce the Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer for dry herb.

Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer with glass mouthpiece

Moving away from the Pax-esque design they’d stuck to with the Air models, the Crave Cloud is a totally unique little portable with a bunch of awesome out-of-the-box features.

Like the Crave Air before it, the Cloud features an analog display with individual LEDs for both temperature setting and battery life indicator.

The temperature gauge includes four preset temps ranging from 185°C (365°F) to 195°C (385°F), 205°C (400°F) and finally 220°C (428°F) to round up the session.

While many appreciate the freedom of a full-spectrum digital temp control, in this case, the four set temps are more than capable of providing you with an outstanding vapor experience.

Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer - box

Like with the Air model before it, a lot of work has gone into the design of the Crave Cloud’s packaging. Looking almost like a top-end smartphone, the device impresses before it’s even left the box.

Like the Cloud device itself, the box sports a simple yet sophisticated design. Pulling back the outer cover reveals a green flip-top box which opens to reveal your device and the accessory back concealed underneath.

Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer - without mouthpiece

The vape itself is slick. Comparatively smaller than the previous model from Crave, the Cloud fits snuggly in your hand due to its slightly oval shape.

The bottom loading chamber creates fantastic airflow, giving you the ability to take massive hits of vapor without straining your lungs.

Looking from top to bottom, the Cloud has a similar flat mouthpiece to that of the Pax 3, this is an ultra discreet little feature that helps to conceal the devices true nature.

Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer - glass mouthpiece

If you’re more into sharing your session though, the Crave Cloud features a concealed pull-up glass mouthpiece which extends the vapor path and subsequently helps to cool the vapor down.

The flavor profile of the vapor generated is top notch. I was really impressed with the vapor quality, which ranked up there with the likes of the Flowermate range or the Arizer Air and Solo.

Looking at the vapor path of ceramic and glass, it’s clear that Crave has worked hard to develop a portable vaporizer that’s solely focussed on flavor.

Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer - chamber

Speaking of the chamber, like the Crave Air, the Cloud features a bottom-loading full-ceramic baking chamber/oven for even dry herb vaporization.

The vapor generated is super sweet and dense, with visible vapor starting to pop up about a minute into the session. The ceramic-on-glass vapor production method generates a super sweet vapor with a lasting flavor.
