Breaking Down the Crave Cloud Portable Vaporizer: VapeFuse Review
If you’re in the market for a portable vaporizer that’s got a great battery life, is super discreet, and generates big clouds of vapor, then the Crave Cloud portable vape is the device you’ve been looking for.
The vape has a flat-top mouthpiece, similar to that of the PAX 3 or DaVinci IQ, with an embedded vapor path linking up to the herb chamber.
If you’re looking to consume your herb discreetly, this is a fantastic little feature! But if you’re more into extended mouthpieces or vaping with your mates, the glass mouthpiece also pulls out like a straw.
Featuring a LED-indicative analog display, the Cloud has a similar method of operation to the X Vape FOG portable vape. The lights indicate temp settings and battery level in specified increments.
The vape has four preset temperature settings that range from 185°C (365°F) to 195°C (385°F), 205°C (400°F) and finally 220°C (428°F) to help finish up the session.
Like the Crave Air before it, the Cloud features a bottom loading chamber for herb vaporization. This time, however, the Crave guys have introduced a fully-ceramic baking chamber for even vapor production.
The ceramic chamber generates a remarkably sweet, dense vapor that is subsequently pulled through the all-glass straw mouthpiece for a super pleasant vaping experience.
If you’re a flavor fanatic like me, you can rest assured the Crave Cloud’s clean-cut vapor path is going to match all of your flavor profile expectations. It’s pretty similar to the Arizer range in terms of flavor, and only slightly losing out in terms of production.
Nearing the end of the session the chamber can get quite hot, but the extendable glass straw does its job wonderfully and helps with keeping the flow of vapor at a cool temperature.
Like all good portables these days, the Crave Cloud comes with a universal Micro USB charging cable which gives power to the removable Samsung battery.
