Iolite Original Gas Powered Portable Vaporizer Review [VIDEO]

G’day fellow VapeFusers!

For this article, I’m excited to bring you the best thing out of Ireland since Shepards Pie and Guinness. The first-of-its-kind, revolutionary, butane-powered Iolite!

This is the first vape I’ve come across to stem away from the traditional battery or wall powered method of operation. The Iolite Original portable vaporizer is super cool as it allows you to go away for days, or even weeks, without having to worry about charging your vape.

Now, every time I’ve mentioned the butane-powered vape to my friends they’ve been really skeptical about using a device powered by gas. I understand the skepticism, however, fear not my friends, the Iolite means you no harm!

Iolite Original Portable Vape with Butane Gas
The extreme level of sophistication that’s gone into producing a vape that’s easier to operate than a BIC lighter ensures that butane is instantly converted to a jet flame that, when ignited, heats the aluminum chamber to a consistent temperature of 190 degrees Celsius. This is maintained by an interior thermostat that ensures your herb is heated to perfection every time.

What the Iolite lacks is visible clouds, it more than makes up for in flavour! It produces some of the smoothest, sweetest vapor I’ve come across in a portable and is entirely odorless. The vape’s inbuilt butane chamber lasts for about an hour before needing to be refilled, allowing more than enough room for a few long sessions.

Check out the master of discreteness and portability, the Iolite Original, at VapeFuse.com and check out my review of it below! Take it easy and til’ next time, Matt

Hey guys, Matt here from VapeFuse Australia, keeping you up-to-date with the latest and vaping news and content. Now for this video, I’m gonna be breaking down a first-of-its-kind butane powered vape that gives portability a whole new meaning.

Keep your chargers at home and get vaping outside with the Iolite Original portable vape.

Now, I was definitely skeptical when I first heard about a gas-powered vape. It seemed to defeat the purpose of healthier herb consumption by throwing gas in the mix. But the devices’ ingenious method of operation is so precise, that you don’t need to worry about the gas getting into the vapor path.

Iolite Original Portable Vape- Butane Gas Powered
The Iolite catalytic heater converts butane into power, without actually using a flame. This then channels all the heat against the bottom of the titanium chamber, warning the heating pin and vaping the herbs to perfection at a consistent temp of 190 degrees Celsius. When I’m reviewing portable vapes, I like to rate them on flavor discreetness and the cloud of vapor they’re able to produce. This vape has a singular set temp, ensuring a consistent vapour is emitted.

Iolite Original Portable Vape Screen Chamber
What the Iolite lacks in visible clouds, it makes up for in flavour, with a beautifully smooth and sweet vapor that really does the herb profile justice. What I like about the Iolite is it’s a simple yet innovative design and it’s a sturdy little portable that fits easily into the palm of your hand.

Looking at the box, the stylish silver on black finish really stands out. Inside you’ll find the Iolite device which is available in black, white, blue, red, green, orange, purple and yellow. As well as a bunch of sturdy accessories, the Iolite comes with a zipper pouch carry case with a magnetic clip pocket for stashing your tools.

Iolite Original Portable Vape- Unboxing
The Iolite’s accessories have a cool, rustic look that adds to the product’s durable nature. These include a three-part customizable mouthpiece with three replaceable rubber caps. Also included, is a brass cleaning and packing tool, 2 pipe cleaners for mouthpiece and chamber maintenance, a spare chamber screen, moisture condenser and an instruction manual. To operate your Iolite, you need to first pack and fill the device.

To pack the chamber, remove it from the vape and pack your dry herbs into the mesh-screened aluminum chamber like this. Insert the chamber back into the vape and fill your gas tank. This is done using butane gas, with one tank generally lasting two or three long sessions. Invert the gas canister and fill the device until the gas begins to escape.

Make sure not to overfill the device, and if you do, wait five minutes before beginning your session. To start the heating element, flip the switch from zero to one and slowly press down on the starter button until the orange element kicks off. The Iolite reaches the vaping temp of 190 degrees after about 45 seconds and can last for twenty minutes in a single session. Made in Ireland by Oglesby and Butler to high manufacturing standards, it is also backed by a two-year warranty to give you peace of mind. The device requires very little maintenance and cleaning is as easy as pulling apart the mouthpiece and giving it a good scrub with the pipe cleaners.

The Iolite is the pinnacle of portability and is sure to lighten up any long adventure or camping trip, without having to worry about batteries.
