The FocusVape portable vaporizer is fast becoming one of the most loved portable vaporizer in the VapeFuse Community around the world. It is already the most popular portable in our New Zealand store and climbing up on the chart in our other stores as well.
One of the most common questions we get about it is this:
‘What are the major differences between the FocusVape and its Pro Version, the FocusVape Pro?’
In this post, I’ll share with you all the details, so that you can make an informed decision on which one is best for your needs.

Let’s get into it…
Even though the two versions look very similar, there are two major ‘visual’ differences between them, the digital display and the skin.
The FocusVape Pro comes with a digital display that shows the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, while the FocusVape does not have a digital display. It shows which preset temperature your vaporizer is set to, as you can see below (FocusVape on your right and the Pro version on your left).
The skin on the Pro unit is leather imitation, while on the FocusVape it is a smooth finish with stitches on the side, as you will notice in the picture below.
Apart from that, they both come in the same colours (Green, Coffee, White and Black).
They both weigh about the same (the FocusVape is on your right and the FocusVape Pro is on your left).
Batteries
They both come with a replaceable battery. Although the FocusVape comes with a 2500mAh one, while the FocusVape Pro comes with a 3200mAh battery.
I always prefer vaporizers with replaceable batteries, as batteries, in general, tend to wear out after a while. Being able to replace them, means that you don’t have to change the whole vaporizer, just buy a new battery, swap it and off you go vaporizing again. Also being able to replace the battery, means that you can keep a spare one handy and swap them over when you run out of charge.
The herb chamber is exactly the same for both as well.
Out of the two models, the Pro is obviously a more feature rich version and the below table walks you through all the differences between the two.

Which one to choose?
When you are considering which one to get, the first question you should ask yourself is ‘what herbs you are planning to vaporize’. It is to ensure the optimal vaporizing temperatures of your herb(s) are covered by the temperature range.
The temperature range of the FocusVape is 160 to 220 Celsius, while on the FocusVape Pro it is a broader range of 80 to 240 Celsius.
The FocusVape Pro gives you the ability to set the temperature by the degree, giving you ultimate control over your vaporizing temperature. While the FocusVape has preset temperatures at 160,170,180,190, 200 and 220 Celsius.
One of the biggest differences between these two vaporizers is the bubbler. The FocusVape Pro Premium comes with a water bubbler glass attachment included in the box.
This is a quite attractive ‘package’ as more and more people in our VapeFuse community are becoming interested in using water bubblers with their vaporizer.
The bubbler does not fit the FocusVape though, only the FocusVape Pro, which can be used with or without the bubbler.
In terms of vapor quality, both units are the same. However, the Pro version gives you more precise control over your vaporizing temperature, and with the added bubbler you can enjoy a cooler and cleaner vaping experience.
Conclusion
Overall, both of these portable vapes are very good and reliable devices, and will surely do an excellent job when it comes to herbal vaporizing. Some members of our VapeFuse community prefer vaporizers to be simple and like the FocusVape for that reason.
Although, as water bubblers are gaining more popularity the Pro version is appealing to many due to its added water bubbler feature.
